She was the daughter of Debra Damron Brown and the late Donald Ray Brown. Ginger attended Crossroads Christian Church.

She graduated from West Carter High School in 1996, where she proudly played basketball for the Lady Comets. By doing so, Ginger was able to spend more time with her loving husband and son, attending Grants Basketball and football games and attending collegiate and professional sporting events, and volunteering at Grant’s schools, Recovery Point WV, and Fayette County Meals on Wheels.

Ginger was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Brown; maternal grandfather, James E. Damron; her paternal grandparents, Ersel and Jewell Barker Brown; and James E. “Jim” Barker, who she called Papaw.

Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
