Our People

William Waddell is the president of Globe Funeral Chapel and has been a licensed funeral director since 2003. A lifelong resident of the Olive Hill area, a 1982 graduate of West Carter high School and has been the majority stockholder of Globe Funeral Chapel since 1998. William and his wife Viola live in Olive Hill and have two daughters and two sons.

Steven W. Whitt is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is an Elliott County High School graduate. He is a vice president / stockholder of Globe Funeral Chapel, graduating from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where he received the Bill Pierce Award, which is awarded once to each class for outstanding professionalism and conduct. Steven is married to Chesla, also a licensed funeral director. They have one son, Cody.
